In case of the pressure in two plunger pump or boiler tube exceeds the design values; it would result in tube failure, equipment damage and other serious accidents. In this paper, the author analyze the reason which resulted in coker furnace tube coking, and introduce the successful experiments of decoking method in tar tube furnace furnace in Jiuquan Iron and Steel Corp.

In this paper, the authors analyze the reasons which resulted in coker furnace tube coking, and introduce the successful experiments of decoking method in tar tube furnace in Jiuquan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd.
