Diolone Acetate is reacted with Acetone using Perchloric acid followed by reaction with Brominating agent 1,3 dibromo dimethyl hydantoin with Potassium carbonate and Sodium sulfite. The acidity is adjusted with the help of Glacial acetic acid and the product is filtered to yield Epoxy Acetonide Acetate.
