We are looking for 5 PhD students to work immediately on the following projects:
• Engineering the reactions taking place on the surface of base metal and precious minerals.
• Designing new polymers for increased productivity in mineral flotation.
The first project needs 2 PhD students with the knowledge of surface chemistry and electrochemistry. See the advertisement(http://jobs.uq.edu.au/caw/en/job ... arch-scholarships). The second project needs 3 PhD students with the knowledge of polymer chemistry. The 3 PhD students will work on polymer design, characterising new designed polymers, and apply the polymers in mineral flotation. All the 5 students will work within a large research team and collaborate with many internal and external researchers.
The scholarships cover the living expenses from A$26,000 to A$36,000 with the tuition fee waiver.
