其实进行同源建模时候，并不是所有的蛋白全序列都可以建模，或者都能找到模板（template）。 但是对于目的蛋白，你可能只对其中某段序列区域（催化域，底物/辅酶结合域等）感兴趣，而这些序列区域 可能保守度很高，可以对这些区域进行建模即可。 你可以先将全序列进行建模，如果全局比对分值很低，你根据比对结果，选取保守区域的氨基酸序列（最好含有你感兴趣的区域），利用swiss model对该区域重新建模即可。 或者你试试这个建模网站PHYRE2：http://www.sbg.bio.ic.ac.uk/phyre2/html/page.cgi?id=index |
