A recent advance in this system is to design the coordination
frameworks of silver(I) halides by incorporation of various
organic SDAs (structure-directing agents). In addition, the use

an investigation into the relationships between the structures
of complexes and the nature of SDAs, as well as other factors,
is still important. Here we are extending our previous work
by exploring the role of the shape and the length of the spacer
and substituents upon the topology of the networks.
