不过用插入语，是否可以用一般现在时，还是必须得写成一般过去式？

个人感觉这种前后两个对应的名词，在后句中引用时直接用the former one/the latter one就可以了。
英语也讲究精炼，两句没间隔，不需要再重复描述。
貌似很多文献就这么用的。
