材料PhD Position Opening (全奖博士) at Arizona State University
ABOUT THE POSITION: Positions are available for Ph.D. Students, Postdocs and Visiting Scholars in Materials Science & Engineering at Arizona State University. Our group explores interdisciplinary research on optics physics, materials and chemistry, emphasizing nanophotonics, artificial materials and devices. We are seeking Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows with excellent training in any of the following areas: physics, engineering, materials sciences and chemistry, and with the strong motivations to develop new technologies and applications. ABOUT PI: Dr. Sui Yang is an Assistant Professor of Materials Science & Engineering at Arizona State University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from UC Berkeley, and later on worked as a research scientist (co-PI) at the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center (NSEC) at UCBerkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, where his research focused on the metamaterials and photonics. He has published over forty papers in many prestigious journals, including Nature, Science, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, and etc. His work received wide media coverage from Nature publications, Science News, Scientific American, Physics World, R&D Magazine, and etc.
