Below is the notice of PhD recruitment in Prof. Lu Lin’s research group.

Research background: Strong academic/research background in Materials science, Nanomaterials, Chemistry, green building nanomaterial development, building science and engineering, etc.  

Time of enrollment: 2020 (earliest in Jan 2020)

English Language requirements: An overall score of at least 6.5 for IELTS or overall score of 80 or above for TOEFL in the Internet-based test.

Scholarship:
1.        Under current university policy, a full-time PhD student will be guaranteed with HK$17,400 per month during the normal period of study.
2.        Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) with HK$25,000 per month and waiver of tuition fee. Refer to https://cerg1.ugc.edu.hk/hkpfs/index.html  

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a universally acknowledged research institution, which is located at the hub of Hong Kong, with a convenient walking distance to the beautiful and gorgeous Victoria Harbour. Prof. Lu Lin is recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher (Clarivate Analytics 2018). She has made a major and lasting impact on building science research and industry with focusing on renewable energy technologies in buildings, fluid mechanics and heat/mass transfer related to building engineering, and green building nanomaterial development.
