香港理工大学-建筑新能源课题组-博士招生

Dear prospective students, Below is the notice of PhD recruitment in Prof. Lu Lin’s research group. Research background: Strong academic/research background in Materials science, Nanomaterials, Chemistry, green building nanomaterial development, building science and engineering, etc. Time of enrollment: 2020 (earliest in Jan 2020) English Language requirements: An overall score of at least 6.5 for IELTS or overall score of 80 or above for TOEFL in the Internet-based test. Scholarship: 1. Under current university policy, a full-time PhD student will be guaranteed with HK$17,400 per month during the normal period of study. 2. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) with HK$25,000 per month and waiver of tuition fee. PolyU ranked 91 in the lasted QS world university rankings 2020, and its subject of built environment ranked 20 in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019. Prof. Lu Lin is recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher (Clarivate Analytics 2018). She has made a major and lasting impact on building science research and industry with focusing on renewable energy technologies in buildings, fluid mechanics and heat/mass transfer related to building engineering, and green building nanomaterial development.
