本人之前投Bioinformatics的一篇拙作被拒回来，看起来是编辑直接直接拒稿的。如果是被reviewers给文章批的一无是处倒也罢了，被编辑打回来一点理由也没有让我也很迷茫 。这种情况是因为文章质量着实太差了吗，有没有可能去和编辑argue一下还能得到审稿机会？

There have been a number of approaches for xxxxxx and only a limited number are evaluated in this work. Given that quite a few approaches have been developed, a more thorough comparison to state-of-the-art is needed.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but the journal is currently receiving many more submissions than can be published - over 2000 submissions were received in 2018. Hence only those of the very highest quality and significance are accepted (the editors currently aim for an acceptance rate of ~20-25%).
