香港大学机械工程系 空气污染物理和化学的实验或数值模拟博士研究项目
本项目研究城市尺度的大气边界层中惰性或活性污染物的传输过程;主要使用风洞或大涡模拟进行研究;主要目标是提高对污染物传输过程的基本认识,以期开发适用于城市活性污染物扩散的简便非cfd模型。
基本条件:
机械、土木、环境工程类或数学、物理类相关专业的优秀本科生、硕士研究生;
有实验仪器经验优先,风洞实验更佳;
有数值模拟或计算流体力学经验;
基本的英语交流能力,会粤语更佳。
满足以下条件的应聘者,将优先考虑:
有开源计算机工程软件如openfoam或gmsh使用经验;
有激光和粒子成像风速仪(piv)使用经验;
有linux系统使用经验。

phd student position in laboratory experiments or mathematical modeling of air pollution physics and chemistry
a phd project to study the transport of inert and/or reactive pollutants in the atmospheric boundary layers with focus on city and/or urban scales. the project will be conducted either by wind tunnel experiments or large-eddy simulation (les). the objective is to enhance our fundamental understanding of pollutant transport in order to develop handy non-cfd models for reactive plume dispersion over urban areas.
essential experience / qualifications:
honor degree in mechanical/civil/environmental engineering, mathematics or physics
experience with laboratory instrumentation
experience with numerical modelling and/or computational fluid dynamics
desirable
experience with open-source computer-aided-engineering tools, e.g. openfoam and/or gmsh
experience with lasers and particle image velocimetry (piv)
experience with linux computing systems
