I regret to inform you that the above-referenced manuscript is not acceptable in its current form for publication in The FASEB Journal based on an editorial assessment and reviewer comments. The reviewer comments are at the end of this letter.

The editors, however, find the work to be of interest and would encourage the authors to resubmit the manuscript if they can resolve satisfactorily the concerns raised by the reviewers. The resubmitted manuscript may be sent out for additional peer review to either the same reviewers or entirely new reviewers, and eventual publication cannot be guaranteed.

If you choose to resubmit the manuscript, please include an itemized list of all changes made. If they think they can prevail, authors may also submit a rebuttal in response to reviewer suggestions. Resubmitted manuscript text and table files should be in a MS Word format (DOC or DOCX). Figure files should be TIF, EPS, PowerPoint or PDF.
