近期投了本领域一篇一区杂志，主编认为文章欠缺火候，没送审直接拒稿了。同时，主编也给了一些评价，贴出来给各位大神看看。按主编意见做一些修改后，是死心改投其他杂志还是继续投该杂志？

While the manuscript presents interesting data and observations, the significance of the study is too limited to be considered further by XXX at this time. For example, the scope of the Conclusions are limited to the study area and do not express the broader geochemical significance obtained specifically by this study. To be honest, injection of mafic magmas does not seem to be an especially original idea. I would also encourage the authors to look again at the structure of the Discussion, which opens with a rather bland summary of observations rather than a strong statement of what the paper is about. A revised paper that better develops the idea expressed in the last lines of the discussion (493-497) might be suitable for further consideration by XXX but it would require recasting the manuscript with a broader perspective. 返回小木虫查看更多
