Reviewer #3: The objective of the study is not clear. There is no reason why the Fe-C electrolysis/UBAF are functional for CIP removal. There is no clear results to conclude the major mechanism of CIP removal in the combined system. The EPS study and microorganisms did not provide the understanding about CIP removal mechanism in the studied system.
