Dr. Xiangbo Meng in Mechanical Engineering at University of Arkansas (Fayetteville, AR, USA)  is enrolling one excellent PhD student in Energy Materials for Advanced Battery Systems for Spring or Summer 2018. A successful candidate should have experimental experience either in electrochemistry (battery assembling, electrochemical testing, and data processing), or in nanosynthesis of novel nanomaterials (inorganic or organic). The position will receive exceptional training in materials synthesis, electrochemistry, and battery design. By conducting collaborative projects with Argonne National Laboratory (IL, USA) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (TN, USA), the students will get accesses to utilize world-class facilities (such as synchrotron-based techniques and high-resolution electron microscopies) and opportunities to work with many of the most brilliant scientists for high-impact research.
