Bioresource Technology细节修改意见求助
最近投一篇Bioresource Technology给了大修，修改之后，编辑（法国编辑）没有针对我的修复稿提意见，而提出了如下问题：

As stated very clearly in the instructions for authors, supplmentary material should not be cited directly in the text. Just a sentence placed after the acknowledgements can inform the reader that such material is available from the website of the journal.
因为我正文后面没有添加supplementary material的说明，所以我认为编辑的意思是要加如下这句话：
Appendix A. Supplementary data
Supplementary data associated with this article can be found, in the online version, at https://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.biortech.2017.XX.XXX.
所以，我把上面这句话加到正文后面。第二次回复稿过去了，过两天，编辑又针对上面的问题提出如下问题：

Supplmentary material is still cited in the text. For example "As shown in Fig. S1, specific activity of permeabilzed" is not correct.
现在我迷糊，这是啥意思，应该怎么改？是否把正文中类似于“As shown in Fig. S1”这种表述改成（Fig. S1）就行。求助啊，别因为这个小问题被拒了，得不偿失。请各大虫友们帮忙，有没有出现类似问题的，帮忙解决一下，谢谢。

你好，非常感谢你的回答。想请问一下supplemary file和appendix这两个是什么区别？你的appendix内容在正文怎么体现？图表的信息怎么在正文体现？非常感谢。
编辑的意思是不是辅助资料不能在文章里面提到，希望有助！加油！
和我当时一样的问题。但是我由于给出正确的答复，前后修改了4次，最后被拒了。
其中上面有个回答是正确的，就在在正文中不用出现Fig. S1，也不要出现Supplementary material，suporting information这类的东西，把这些全部删了，就会被接受。虽然上面所提到的SI之类的在其他期刊上非常常见，但是Bioresource Technology的这个法国编辑就是这么变态，这一点如果没有好好改，最终的下场就是被拒。
例如这句话“As shown in Fig. S1, specific activity of permeabilzed.....”改为 it was found that specific activity of permeabilzed.....
不用管这个结果是从哪里来的。我后面的论文都是按照这种格式修改的，都被接收了。
