Two openings for PhD students are available in Dr. Na Li’s laboratory (https://www.mae.miami.edu/inbs/index.html) at University of Miami.

Highly motivated students with a strong research interest in multi-disciplinary areas, such as biosensor, nanomedicine, and micro/nano fluidics are encouraged to apply. The applicants are expected to have a strong academic background in one or more of the following fields: engineering, chemistry, physics, material science, and biology. A master’s degree and related research experiences will be a plus.

The applicants can apply the PhD program in either Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. A full research assistantship will be provided to the selected applicants.
