今天接到编辑的拒稿信，居然没有任何技术性的理由，原文如下：
Dear Dr --,
We have completed a preliminary assessment of your submission.
We publish a limited number of papers, which we believe are likely to represent significant advances in the field. While your submission may be of a high quality, we unfortunately do not feel that it is appropriate for Materials Science and Technology and recommend that you send it to another journal where it may have a greater impact.
We are sorry not to be able to write in a more positive way, but we should like to thank you for giving us an opportunity to consider your work for publication.

这是啥意思呢？只是编辑对本文不感兴趣吗？或者有其他的原因？我的论文内容不新颖？引用文献只有一篇他们刊物的文章？
这篇文章已经被据了一次了，但是这次修改后，我觉得技术性问题应该已经不多了。但是他这样连审稿都没有就拒，也太不负责了。投这个刊物，该格式就改了好几天啊。
大家觉得有申诉的必要吗？（可能意义也不大了）
