Two Ph.D. positions with assistantship are available for Spring/Fall 2016 in Dr. Kun Cheng’s laboratory in the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC).

Dr. Cheng’s current research focuses on the development of novel drug delivery systems for small-molecule and macromolecular drugs; development of peptide modified prodrugs for chemotherapy; targeted delivery of siRNA for the treatment of breast cancer, prostate cancer, and liver diseases. His research has been continuously supported by the Department of Defense (DoD), the National Institute of Health (NIH) and American Cancer Society (ACS).
