Phd 与 doctorate的区别， 弱弱的问题，能帮我解答下吗？
我是学建筑设计的， 正在写给导师写个邀请信样板
但是我有点弄不清楚的是，貌似其他好多样板里 都直接写成 Phd 而我记得这个只对哲学博士， 像我这种的理工科的我是不是应该写 doctorate?

PHD是博士国外的说法。跟doctor是一样的学位。其实你仔细想想，你虽然是理工的，但实际也是在研究哲学吗

没啥区别，PhD是国外对博士学位的标准说法。另外楼主过虑了，基金委没工夫细究这种用词差别的
