从事过渡金属催化和有机合成研究。在过渡金属催化的有机合成方法学、不对称催化及杂环合成等领域开展了多项创新性研究，取得了多项创新成果。以第一作者或通讯作者在Chem. Soc. Rev., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Catal.等国际权威期刊上发表文章38篇，总引用次数1798次，H-因子为24。获得辽宁省自然科学一等奖（第四完成人）。主持两项国家自然科学基金；入选2019年辽宁省兴辽英才计划-青年拔尖人才。
