Thank you for your interest in my research group. I am expecting to take new graduate students for Fall 2021 admission, and I’d be happy to consider your application in full. I usually begin thinking seriously about applicants in September of the previous year (i.e., Sept. 2020), collecting CVs and application files in Sept-Nov., and carrying out Skype/Zoom interviews in Dec./Jan. for decisions on admission in Jan./Feb.
What I’d suggest is that you focus on preparing for your IELTS test and reach out again in September/October of this year.
