Various positions are available at Prof. T.S. Zhao’s research group at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering). We invites applications for postdoctoral fellows, PhD students, and research assistants in the areas of electrochemical energy storage and conversion, thermal management for lithium-ion batteries and PEMFCs. 1. Ph.D. students and Research Assistants
Positions are available in the area of electrochemical energy storage and conversion. We welcome worldwide applications from motivated students with strong interests in materials/chemical/energy science & engineering. Competitive stipend support will be provided. Students with strong academic backgrounds in science and engineering, good English communication ability and strong interests in energy research will be recommended for the most prestigious PHD fellowship offered by Hong Kong government. The application deadline for this year is 30 June 2020, and we also welcome applications for next year.

2. Postdoctoral fellows
Positions are available in the area of thermal management for lithium-ion batteries and proton exchange membrane fuel cells are available immediately. Worldwide candidates with Ph.D. in energy science and engineering or closely related fields are encouraged to apply. We welcome motivated candidates with demonstrated experience in thermofluids, materials science, and electrochemistry. Highly competitive salary and benefit will be provided.
