Springer期刊投稿问题求助
我有如下几个问题想请教大家，有投过Springer 相关期刊或直接投过Neural Computing and Applications的更好 ：
1.For vector graphics, the preferred format is EPS; for halftones, please use TIFF format: 是否说 latex就上传EPS格式的图片，Word就上传TIFF格式的图片？
2.Each figure should have a concise caption describing accurately what the figure depicts. Include the captions in the text file of the manuscript, not in the figure file.： figure file是将所有的figures打包上传还是一个一个单独上传呢？正文中的figure caption是列在参考文献之后吗？
3.Any figure lettering has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1：是什么意思呢？
4. 是否需要Cover letter 以及 highlights?

矢量图用EPS格式，颜色深浅差别的灰度图用TIFF格式

figure file都是可以一个个上传的，提交文件时就知道了。至于正文中figures是否在参考文献后，要看期刊投稿要求
3.Any figure lettering has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1：是什么意思呢？
图中的字母对比度至少4.5:1。 我理解起码不能和周围背景差别太小，导致审稿时看不清
4. 是否需要Cover letter 以及 highlights?
最好准备一份。如果需要上传，系统里会有专门的要求的，
