投了E家一个比较老牌期刊，
Feb 6 2020第一次返修提交，
之后变为under review，
Mar 23 2020变为 decision in process
直到今天，期间在Apr 26变过一次状态日期，没变状态。


发邮件询问，得到如下反馈：
Having just checked, I can see that the Associate Editor and Area Editor have both made independent decisions on your submission. Your manuscript was recently sent to the Editor in Chief who will assess the reviewer comments before making a decision on your work. I look forward to sending you good news soon.

我怀疑independent decisions 是不是暗示Associate Editor and Area Editor的意见有分歧？

于是再复制了这段话，询问了在线客服，得到如下反馈：
E: Apologies for the wait.
E: Both the Editors have to assess the recommendations on your paper
E: So that they could render their decision
ME: Yes I understand both of them made the decision. I was wondering if they have different decisions? like one accepet but the other rejection.
E: Apologies but I cannot disclose any further information regarding that. Hope you understand Dr Lu.
E: It is within the discretion of the Editors.
