1、Authors should explain why they used a bit archaic OVAT (one variable at a time) approach instead more preferred DOE (Design of Experiments) models such as Central Composite design or any other. These DOE models could evaluate also cross-correlation of individual variables while OVAT approach is depending even on order of tested variables.
2、In the case of FTIR there are no peaks, but only absorption bands.
