Looking for Research Assistant at the University of Hong Kong

The Shin Lab is looking for highly motivated young scientists and engineers. Currently, we have an opening for Research Assistant who will work on the development of a new class of polymer electrolytes. Anyone interested in this project should get on board. Feel free to contact Dong-Myeong at dmshin@hku.hk if you would still like to discuss research in our lab, PhD program and career in academia. The Shin Group is primarily based on the University of Hong Kong campus in the Haking Wong Building, and the members of our group are associated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

导师简介：
Dong-Myeong Shin教授，现任香港大学机械工程助理教授。釜山国立大学分布获得本科、硕士、博士学位。在韩国釜山大学，Dong-Myeong的研究集中在电容式生物传感器、压电和摩擦电纳米发电机中糖的玻璃态动力学。2016年，他加入釜山大学能源融合技术研究中心(Research Center for Energy Convergence Technology, RCECT)，担任博士后研究员，主要研究生物传感器。2017年在釜山大学获得博士和博士后学位后，他以博士后学者的身份来到加州大学伯克利分校(University of California, Berkeley)。他的研究致力于开发用于电池应用的单离子导电网络聚合物。在2019年的夏天，Dong-Myeong在香港大学机械工程系成立自己的课题组，他的课题组致力于发展自供电的纳米电子学及其相关的功能器件，如能量收集/存储设备和bioinspired电子产品。

他的课题组正在筹建当中，科研经费充足，急需学生，欢迎大家踊跃报名！
