3. Please submit your figures in the original editable file format of the program they were created in, or submit them as individual high-quality image files such as TIFF files with 300+ DPI. We can only work with figures embedded in a Word file if they are charts/graphs originally created within Word. Submitting additional copies of your figures in another file format doesn't affect your submission page count. （这条不是很懂，是在manuscript中正常放入图片，还是以tiff文件格式分别单独提交，或者是放入一个新word里面单独提交？最后一句什么意思，单独提交的图表不算页数吗）

Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list).这个是要求每张图和每个表都是单独一页吗
Manuscripts should be supplied in the following format: Microsoft Word (WordPerfect is also acceptable), 12-point type (Times New Roman), and double-spaced. Manuscripts are not to exceed eight (8) pages, plus tables and figures (see Tables and Figures section) for a total of sixteen (16) pages. In the absence of tables and figures, the Editor may allow a greater number of text pages. The Editor's decision is final. Allow margins of at least one inch (3 cm) on all sides of the typed pages. Number all manuscript pages consecutively. Each article should be summarized in an abstract of not more than 100 words (avoiding abbreviations, diagrams, and reference to the text).这个是要求12号，双倍行距，正文不超8页，算上图表总页数不超16页（我图有14个，正文14页）

虫友你好，他们这个期刊只给了简单的大致的格式要求，你又他们的投稿格式要求吗？
第三点是指期刊需要你另外缴交图片的原档，此原档是指像是AI或是PS这些编辑软体的原档。或者是300+的TIFF档这种大型的文件。如果您的图片只插入Word档没有另外的原档，期刊就只能使用你提供的低解析度文件，新缴交的图片原始档并不会影响到页数，而是用高解析度的图换掉原先低画质的图片。
Instructions for authors：照字面上的意思本期刊是要求附录中的每个表格单独成页，图片没有这样的要求，但图释要列成清单，这部分建议参考期刊过往刊出的论文了解其具体要求。以下是本期刊官网上面的规定提供参考
Ensure that each illustration has a caption. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep text in the illustrations themselves to a minimum but explain all symbols and abbreviations used.
