Following the successful launch of Chem in 2016 and continuing our commitment to both chemistry and the physical sciences, Cell Press will be expanding Chem’s footprint by launching a new broad-based, high quality, catalysis journal. We are seeking a visionary Editor-in-Chief to lead this initiative.

The journal’s strong contribution to the field will complement the premium chemistry and energy journals from Cell Press, Chem and Joule, as well as the new Cell Press journals Matter (covering materials science) and One Earth (covering sustainability).

估计“Chem Catalysis”不是刊物正式的名称，只是临时用来打广告招编辑的。
发现Cell Press最近又推出了医学刊物Med并且已经上线。

但广告打了很久的物理和催化新刊还未见面。
这个杂志已经上线。真的叫Chem Catal. https://www.cell.com/chem-catalysis/home

看来定位是Chem的子刊，而不是姐妹刊。可能Chem后续还有其它子刊。
好期刊吧。可能Cell觉得Chem的发行收到很大的关注，再出一个Chem Catalysis专收催化方向的子刊，向Nature Catalysis看齐。做催化的人这么多，影响因子只怕不会低，可能一下就破20了。
投 JOULE 的 一篇文章，编辑让转投这个期刊了，将来的发展应该不会比 ACS CATALYSIS 差

这算是cell的孙刊吧，应该和Nature catalysis差一档
