Figure captions start with articles

今年初的时候投了一篇JSTAR（Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing），等了8个月终于来了消息，但是有一个审稿意见，就是没看懂。临近截止日期了，焦急ing..

问题如下：
"I think figure captions are recommended not to start with articles (like in Fig. 1, 2 and 11)"
应该不是距离章节标题比较近。

把你原文中的图标截图看一下吧，不是按正常的书写规范吗？Figure 1 or Fig.1

感觉字面意思是楼主理解的那样，也可以对比看下图1,2,11，与其它图的标题区别主要在哪。

图1,2的话距离章节标题还稍微近一点，图11距离特别远..所以肯定不是那样的啊..

那几个标题分别是：“Fig. 1. The observation geometry (a) and the observed scene (b). +(变量申明)”“Fig. 2. The ratio of AA to BB increase with the squint angle” "Fig. 11. The imaging results of Real scene: (a)...,(b)..."

你把figure caption单独列在文章最后面就可以了，加工编辑自己会搞好的。你自己排版相当于画蛇添足。

那这个没问题的，可能是你题标和正文挨得太近了
