I am not sure if I got your point. In Germany?vocational and technical education degrees are established for a long time. On the other hand, the?comparability between VET degrees (?Facharbeiter“,?Techniker“ and ?Meister“ etc.) and academic degrees (Bachelor, Master etc.) are given and established in DQR. In addition there is a high ?permeability“ between both systems. So maybe it maybe interesting to have a deeper look at the focus of your Ph.D. and a discussion about innovative research questions.
I keep my fingers crossed for your funding application. How long have you planned to stay in Germany ??
