you analysed your data by using by using tafel extrapolation of potentiodynamic polarization curves, this means that you considered that the anodic current and the cathodic current follow a tafel kinetic. due to the equivalent circuit that you present in figure 12a this analysis is valid for a bare electrode. but for an electrode coated by a tio2 film, the overall current does not follow a tafel law and the previous analysis cannot be applied.
