PhD Positions at NTU, Singapore:

2D-Materials Optoelectronics & Silicon Photonics

Advanced Photonics Research (APR) Lab at School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is seeking two candidates for PhD positions in the field of 2D-materials optoelectronics & silicon photonics for medical applications.

The successful candidates are expected to perform one or more of the following tasks:
        Device design and simulation
        Fabrication, optical characterizations and analyses

The successful candidate should possess:
        Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, applied physics or related areas
        GPA higher than 80%

Salary and benefits:
        Monthly salary: SGD 2,000 (2,500) before (after) and PhD qualification exam
        Tuition is exempted
        On-campus dormitory is guaranteed for the first two years
        The maximum PhD duration is 4 years
