帮导师招生，现招收国家公派csc2019年申请攻读博士学位或博士联培的学生。
二、导师介绍
prof. sarthak misra is roboticist by higher education and research experience. he has been privileged to be a member of highly dynamic and interdisciplinary research environments at mcgill university, johns hopkins university, and canadian space agency. his appointment within biomedical engineering enables him to perform translational research and further strengthen his clinical contacts. he leads an interdisciplinary team of students and post-doctoral fellows. he directs the surgical robotics laboratory and has lab-spaces both at ut and umcg. he strives to be a passionate and inspiring mentor to students of varying academic and cultural backgrounds. he has secured grants worth �6.02 million, which includes the prestigious veni, vidi, and erc starting grants. his research is internationally recognized, and he is frequently invited to present his work at conferences and universities worldwide (~50invited talks). his work is often highlighted in popular media (e.g., bbc news, los angeles times, de volkskrant, vpro), and he also presents his research at outreach events. he has initiated two major lines of research at twente and groningen, i.e., (1) modeling and control of flexible devices (e.g., flexible needles, endoscopes, continuum robots). (2) medical microrobotics (e.g., paramagnetic microparticles, microjets, magnetosperms, and magnetotactic bacteria).
