最近投稿一篇Carbohydrate Polymers，一星期之后返回编辑意见，提示需要修改后才能送审稿人，编辑意见如下：
I find that it could possibly be of potential interest to our readers, but that there are aspects that must be improved before I would consider sending to reviewers. I find no statement of hypothesis in the introduction, and therefore no discussion in the conclusions as to whether your work confirmed or refuted your starting hypothesis. Both are required by the journal. Characterization of your natural polysaccharide does not meet journal standards. See guide for authors for guidance on both points, where in fact alginate is used as an example with regard to characterization. Writing is problematic in places.
  我对于这个 hypothesis不是很理解，还有就是最后关于Writing的问题，不知道是指书写还是语言表达的问题，我投稿之前是润色过的，但是根据期刊要求做了一些改动，感觉问题应该不大，但是如果不改的话不知道会有什么影响？难道还要再润色一遍么？（因为文章已经改动，所以之前的润色机构不能免费再润色了）希望大家分享下经验。 返回小木虫查看更多
