Ph.D. openings (Strong Master's applicants are also considered) with full financial support (RA assistantship + full tuition scholarship + health insurance benefit, around $30,000 per year) are available starting from Spring 2019 in the Dept of Computer Science and engineering at University of North Texas, working with Dr. Wei Jin (https://www.cse.unt.edu/~weijin/).

The areas are text and Web mining, information retrieval, graph mining, and their various applications.

Motivated students with strong problem-solving skills, solid computer science, and math background as well as programming skills are encouraged to apply. Students with previous experience in data mining and machine learning are highly welcomed.
