Dr. Zuyi (Jacky) Huang’s group in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Villanova University has an Ph.D. position available in Fall 2018. The PhD candidate should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in chemical engineering or biology-related disciplines. Potential projects are related to, but not limited to, experimental and modeling research for antimicrobial/antibiofilm chemical compounds. The on-going projects in Dr. Huang’s Systems Biology group include: 1) studying the metabolism of biofilm-associated pathogens; and 2) modeling the cytokine release syndrome for T-cell therapy. Preference will be given to the candidates with M.S. degree and microbial experiment experience.
