Cell
To expand our commitment to promoting cross-pollination of ideas beyond the life sciences,Cell Press will be launching a premier, broad-interest, high-impact journal serving researchers in the field of materials science. We are seeking a visionary, insightful Editor-in-Chief to lead this initiative.
The Editor-in-Chief will have the exciting opportunity to shape a distinctive journal in this active and multifaceted field of research and lead the editorial team according to his or her creative vision.
This journal will publish the most exciting and significant advances in all areas of materials research, both fundamental and applied, including, but not limited to, nanomaterials, energy materials, biomaterials, electronic and photonic materials, structure, performance, magnetic materials, soft materials, polymers and computational materials science. Its strong contribution to the field will complement the new premium chemistry journal from Cell Press, Chem, its sister journal, Joule, covering energy research, and the broader Elsevier materials portfolio. The journal will have a variety of formats to encourage fast and effective communication of new research findings. In addition, it will highlight important new advances and promote timely discussion of relevant topics through commissioned articles such as previews, perspectives, and reviews.

https://www.nature.com/naturejob ... orial-opportunities
To expand our commitment to promoting cross-pollination of ideas beyond the life sciences, Cell Press will be launching journals in the physical sciences. Cell Press has already successfully taken its formula of world class author service and innovative approaches to publishing into the chemistry and energy research communities, with the launches of Chem and Joule. We are now launching journals in additional areas and we are seeking talented scientists with expertise in the areas of:
Environmental sustainability
Materials
Physics
Chemistry
Cell最近又宣布,将推出一本Physical Science(包括chemistry, material science, energy research and relevant environmental and earth science)的开源期刊。 Commun.;Cell Rep. Phys., *** Chem. *** Biol.

This journal aims to publish significant advances in all areas of physical science research, including all aspects of chemistry, material science, energy research and relevant environmental and earth science. Its strong contribution to the field will complement the premium chemistry and energy journals from Cell Press, Chem and Joule, as well as the upcoming journals on sustainability and material science. The journal will employ an open-access model similar to Cell Reports for the life sciences,
