审稿人一条意见是啥意思？
To use Fig. X only into the text. Otherwise, "Figure".
我论文中所有图都用的Fig. X来指代，那么审稿人的一生是让我都换成Figure呢？还是保持原状？
The velocity and temperature variations along the center line of the bath for the two cases are shown in Fig. 8 and Fig. 9 respectively.

正文中可以用fig,其他地方用figure.

补充二楼的，是否你的图的标题中也使用了 Fig.X? 可能应该使用Figure X。不妨再看看该期刊近期发表的论文格式。
我看了一下格式要求：Figure captions begin with the term Fig. in bold type, followed by the figure number, also in bold type.
要求captions是Fig. X的形式，审稿人让我改成figure，这是审稿人搞错了吧
