Doctoral Project in Molecular Metabolism- Scholarship available

Project Overview
Our laboratory is interested in investigating the cellular signaling processes that that control our metabolic function including glucose homeostasis and adaptations to exercise training. In this project you will investigate novel mechanisms that might determine why some individuals are more susceptible to metabolic disease and whether these pathways are modulated by exercise.     

This PhD project has the potential to involve human, rodent and cell culture research models and you will be trained in molecular wet laboratory techniques as well as clinical trial procedures.
