请问通讯作者邮箱能修改吗？
我刚投了chemistry letters，编辑部回复的邮件写了：
[NOTICE: Inappropriate E-mail addresses]
It is our policy to NOT publish non-institutional Email addresses
as contact information for the corresponding author.
Please use an appropriate E-mail address issued by your affiliation.

请问一下大家我是要联系编辑部修改通讯作者邮箱？还是不用改邮箱啊？
PS：我是用学校邮箱申请的账号，不过通讯作者邮箱是163的。

最好是改邮箱。我们研究所就没有机构邮箱，上次录用的稿件proof的时候也提了这个问题，还好最后解释了一下给放过了。
导师不作为，不愿意提供学校邮箱，所以每次我都很痛苦的处理此事，昨天一篇top期刊proof时，我以导师，通讯作者的身份回复：
My institutional email is mainly used to deal with the affairs in terms of my official work and life.
The present email, XXXXX@hotmail.com, is in charge of submitting my papers and communicating with my research partners.
I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
每次都通过了。预计6月毕业，再也不想干这样的事情了，
接收前改都可以
通讯作者邮箱也要改为工作单位的邮箱。
