投稿后，编辑对我的有效数字产生了疑问（significant digits），我也详细发邮件询问了他，他给我解释了可是我还是不会改。

When you write

1.590 g/L Al(NO3)3, it means that you are certain that the true value is between 1.585 and 1.594. This means four significant digits, which is a high level of certainty. The uncertainty of this number is less than 1%.

When you write

0.017 g/L Ba(NO3)2, you are much less certain about the number (only two significant digits). This is an uncertainty of 10%.



Since weighing of chemicals should yield comparable uncertainties, you will have to round to a consistent number of significant digits, not digits after the decimal point.

我搞不懂编辑到底需要我怎么改？难道就只把表中的有效数字修改成一致就行了？请大侠赐教，我这样改的话对么？
