I thank you for your recent contribution sent to the Chemical Engineering Journal. However, I have examined your manuscript and in my opinion the focus of your contribution is out of the scope of the Novel Materials for Energy and Advanced Applications (NM) section, as described in the Guide for Authors of the Chemical Engineering Journal (see description below).

As you can see, the NM section focusses on new methods for the synthesis of advanced materials with an emphasis on nanomaterials. We seldom publish catalytic work, because of two main reasons: i) we deal primarily with novel materials synthesis methods, and catalysis as such is outside the main areas of interest of our readership and ii) there are already numerous Journals fully devoted to catalysis where your work would find better accommodation.

Thus, at this stage, I have decided to withdraw your manuscript from further consideration. Please note that this does not reflect any judgment on the quality and novelty of your manuscript.
