If you are interested in revising your manuscript for WC, I would like to see you do the following: 1)
articulate a problem and research question(s) that appeals to a broad audience of writing researchers and
practitioners; 2) develop a theoretical framework that helps you to situate your work more precisely within
the xxx studies scholarship (which may include some xxxxx research but would also include
studies related, for instance, to xxx processes and pedagogies); and 3) draw conclusions that are
applicable not only toxxxx or xxx but also, more broadly, to the field’s understanding of xxx
