Ph.D. opportunity in biological/environmental engineering at University of Idaho
The Department of Biological Engineering at the University of Idaho is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Ph.D. student with his/her MS and undergraduate training in
biological, chemical, or environmental engineering with knowledge in renewable energy engineering and waste management. Research opportunities are available in biological and non-thermal-based techniques leading to bioenergy production and environmental remediation, biological processing of wastes/biomass to produce value-added products, and advanced wastewater treatment technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in related research and publication and be willing to learn and work in a team environment. Ability to handle analytical instruments such as GC/MS and HPLC is desired.
Research assistantship is available for this position which is immediately available for Spring 2018.
English requirement:
1) TOEFL 79/550 or IELTS 6.5
2) GRE test
