Ph.D. Position in biotic stress resistance in wild crops at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Song lab at UNC Charlotte has a Ph.D. position available for Spring 2018/Fall 2018.
The primary focus of the group is to understand plant adaptation to environmental stresses with a focus on biotic stress. We are using genomics, metabolomics, physiological approaches, molecular biology, and evolution, to elucidate the mechanisms involved in biotic stress resistance in soybean and wild soybean. The overall research goal is to dissect molecular mechanisms and evolution of plant adaptation.
