Brief description:
A full PhD scholarship from Murdoch University (Perth, Australia) is available for a motivated student to study an interesting combustion problem. The potential student should have relevant background in chemical engineering or a closely related field.  Understanding of thermal decomposition processes and reaction kinetics is an added advantage.

The project includes, but not limited to combustion features of amine compounds and relevant applications in suppressing industrial formation of nitrogen oxides.  Characterisation and co-combustion behavior of amine compounds with nitrate salts via sophisticated laboratory-scale setups.
