小弟前段时间投了篇physical review A. 审稿意见回来，编辑说：The above manuscript has been reviewed by one of our referees.
Comments from the report appear below.
These comments suggest that the present manuscript is not suitable for publication in the Physical Review.
个人理解，也就是拒的意思。
需要说明的是，这个期刊一般就一个审稿人，所以运气成分也占很大，所以没遇到nice点的审稿人，还是挺伤心的。
由于第一次投这样的物理类期刊，不太理解，是否需要进一步修改或者appeal.

审稿人全文没有就文章的新颖做任何评论，对部分文字做了说明，比如advanced 改成standard, in-depth不应该用，因为他感觉不那么in-depth, parameter 应该为variable 之类的，再问了一些很普通的问题，最后给出了：In conclusion, the manuscript seems to present some new points according to A) and B) above. However, in the current state the manuscript is, according to my comments above, I think this manuscript is more appropriate for a more specialized journal.

之后编辑就给出了类似的结论。

我查阅本人账户的时候，发现状态为: with author(s).  据网上信息说：with authors还有修改的余地，如果是 not under active consideration, 那么就是完全被拒掉了。
