Dr. Meiqing shi lab in Veterinary medicine department of University of Maryland College Park is now recruiting PhD students. Our research focuses on the immunology of fungal pathogens and African trypanosomes. We are an immunology lab trying to identify critical factors and pathways involved during infection.The applicants should have a bachelor's degree in life science or medicine related fields. A master's training will be an advantage.

The applicant should be passionate about science and willing the spend at least 5 years to get the PhD degree.Our lab will have sufficient funding to support your 5-year research. Applicants with immunology backgrouds and animal handling experience with be perferred but other applicants are also welcome.
