While I find your work interesting, I feel the focus of your study is rather specialized for the readership of the ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.   

There are many papers on the use of 。。。 for HER with much better performance than that reported in the present study. See for example some recent papers: 。。。
In this respect, the present paper does not add much to the existing knowledge. As such, I have made the decision to decline to process your manuscript further, as I feel it is better suited for a more specialized journal.
